Senate Rules Committee: "Give Hickman a stab at it!" (The Governor's back, that is.)

Click on title to access Sack-B article

As reported in Sack-B, Rodney Q. Hickman received the recommendation of the Senate Rules Committee and will soon be confirmed by the full Senate. Thusly, the man who never saw a back he wouldn't stab ascends to the throne of YACA. ('Thrones' being his area of expertise.) In true Machiavellian style, Senate President Pro Tem John Burton is orchestrating Hickman's coronation knowing full well he is placing a virtual human time-bomb smack dab in the center of GAS' Cabinet.

Well, GAS can't say he wasn't warned. Soon enough he will realize the veracity of the addage, "Be careful what you wish for. You might get it." Incidentally GUV, we wear 'turtle shells' in the lockups because no amount of muscle can stop a shank. Perhaps you should borrow one one from an ADSEG near you.

Unfortunately, as Hickman continues to bungle, babble and back-stab, GAS isn't the only one in harm's way. My Poppy always said, "Never underestimate an idiot and you won't be disappointed." Judging by the feedback received here, the only folks underestimating this idiot work in the Capitol. GAS and the Senate are tossing the rank-and-file CO, GS, PA, CC et al., a hot potato. "Spud" Hickman is dangerous, incompetent, untrustworthy, self-serving and unqualified. Putting him at the helm is the real life version of "Toonces, the cat who could drive."

Toonces, once a recurring feature on Saturday Night Live, could IN FACT drive a car...just not very well. Invariably, he would drive off a cliff along with the stupid people who LET him drive. Fortunately for GAS & Friends, they aren't in the car...we are... AND WE DON'T WANT THIS CAT TO DRIVE THE CAR!

And to think that Spud almost had his buddy "Reggie" at the helm of the IG . . . .

Why weren't YOU there PACO? You talk a good game but when the rubber met the road you peed. The reason you didn't show is that you know Mr. Hickman is a good choice who will hold all of the prison guards accountable. Its a lot easier to sit back and throw stones isn't it? I admit you are pretty funny at times and seem to have a handle on what goes on in your "union" but that doesn't make you credible. I see you have about the same amount of time in corrections as Mr. Hickman. So, why aren't YOU being confirmed by the Senate? Perhaps because you are not as bright as Mr. Hickman? Why don't you just give the "BLOG" a rest shut your trap and do your OVERPAID little babysitting job like a good little (or probably big fat) guard?

Since when do inmates have internet access?

Oh well, I knew sooner or later the guard haters would find this site and attempt to turn it into a mud slinging contest. Will we help feed the fire by replying to their childish taunts? I hope not.

Why does GAS need a turtle shell when he has the Chippies around him writing all those money making tickets for him. Last week in the SAC valley Chippies wrote over 1800 tickets in a two "crack-down" that netted the state almost $50K in assessed fines to help balance the budget on the tax payers backs. Do you think they made their non-exisitent "quota"????

In response to the above critique....Actually, Paco was at work. Had he been off Paco would have avoided the hearing just the same. Why? Because the confirmation was a foregone conclusion. Besides, my dear Spud-Lover, "Paco Villa" is a pseudonym employed PRECISELY BECAUSE WE NEED ANONYMITY to speak out against CDC/YACA mismanagement. What part of anonymous don't you understand? And, I pray you are right: I am NOT in Spud's league in terms of intelligence. Thanks for reminding us of who and what we are up against.

Excellent post Mr. V. The cat analogy is purr-fect. Also am glad to see you responding to your attacker instead of raging. Still I agree with knuckle dragger that these people don't merit responses. Why not just delete their comments?

Keep up the good work AND how about a shot at parole idiots for the sake of us former CO's on the street? CPO's inside who want to be agents need to know how totally screwed up P&CSD really is. The money is good, the pedal car is OK and the relative freedom nice but the supervisors are either incompetent or assholes or both. Management keeps changing the rules and when a case goes sideways they audit you and blame you for the parolees mistakes.

Watch your mailbox Paco-have I got some stuff for you!

I have the creeping feeling that the "Anonymous Critic" IS Spud!!! (might be the smell of potatoes..LOL) But I agree with earlier posters that the best possible response is to simply respond to any genuine criticism and ignore the extranious crap. Deleting is not a good idea, I think Paco is trying to let peeps express themselves, within guidelines. Keep up the EXCELLENT work Paco!!!

OF, you took the words out of Paco's mouth. As one who wasted years arguing with cretins in the alt.prisons NG, I have no interest in flame fights with leftist nuts. Paco WILL delete such posts if they are way out there BUT a note will be included explaining why the post was inappropriate AND a copy of the post will be emailed to whomever requests it. In this case, PV thought the post asked a legitimate (though ill-conceived) question AND it was just what was needed to encourage our brothers and sisters lurking out there to speak up. For the record, Paco Villa is NOT a "big fat guard." PV prefers full-figured, big-boned or husky <(;{

In response to Ms. 3056:

PLEASE send PV anything you have on parole (CDC & CYA). Paco already has SOME stuff but has not posted yet. A journalist has expressed an interest in it and I don't want to spill the beans as yet.

Parole Agents submitting information are asked to include a return email address so Paco can get your feedback before posting. I have a pretty good idea what goes on in parole but lack the expertise to speak with any degreee of authority on those matters.

That's Right Mang!! We got your back PV. Forget those Scab Bastards who bring us down. We sit here and expose the fruits of CDC while Hickman and Woody are trying out for " Toy story 3" LOL..............

In response to anonymous critic, Hickman is not that smart, just ruthless. Want to see the cleat marks on my back? I know him better than most, and my pet dog is more qualified than he is. Rod has a gift of gab and talks a good game. He just makes sure he's left the ballpark before the ninth inning starts. It's kind of like, big hat, no saddle. GAS was so hot to put some chocolate chips in his ice cream, someone went and sold him a Yugo.

The Upper Administration has always been a bunch of self serving scumbags! they'll roll over on you in a heart beat to save their own worthless behinds. Paco it is good to see the younger generation pick up the sword and tell it like it is ! Maybe the Fed's can straighten out the Administration. keep up the good work...
